Auxiliaries

Auxiliaries

Joining a WCH Auxiliary provides the opportunity to help the Hospital, meet new people, learn more about the WCH and have fun fundraising.

The Auxiliaries raised approximately $160,000 - $180,000 a year and since inception in 1958 have raised in excess of $7m for the Hospital.

The WCH has 44 Auxiliaries spread across South Australia and into the Northern Territory with a membership of approximately 1000 people. Auxiliaries assist the Hospital in a number of ways

  • supporting and facilitating health promotion programs
  • raising funds for the Hospital
  • acting as ambassadors within the community.

For more information about the Auxiliaries contact Sonia Davies Coordinator, Auxiliaries (08) 8161 6439 or email sonia.davies@health.sa.gov.au
